This is a big week. Tonight we are screening the film at William Paterson University, which I’m really excited about. Then, on Saturday (April 8) I’m giving a TEDx talk about the Sonic Divide project (and the event is sold out). The very next day I’m performing a percussion and vocal recital at Montana State University that includes Sonic Divide compositions by Eric Funk, Michael Gordon, Blake Tyson, and Reena Esmail. And then another film screening, also at Montana State University. If you live close by I hope you’ll join us!

It’s exciting to have the poster done. And we’re heading to the finish line with the film with the first pre-screenings just a month away . . .
First Draft of the film is done!
Last week I finished editing the first draft of the Sonic Divide film. It came in at about 90 minutes. We’re going to trim it down a bit, but we’ve got a full-length film on our hands.
I’m happy with it. I think there are some great moments in the film and I hope people enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. We’ve still got a lot of fine-tuning to get it ready for the public, but it’s exciting that it’s in rough form now, and looking pretty good.
